I remember probably 40 years ago my dad telling me why he did not like or watch a bunch of popular “family” shows. The shows always made the fathers and sons look like bumbling fools and idiots. It was something I was always conscious of when watching shows with my own kids. My kids never bought in to the Disney “magic”.
